About this course

In this course you will learn to create web portals and intranets with Liferay, configuring pages, content and users with different permissions. We will see how to manage publications and apply SEO optimizations, including integration with schema.org. Throughout the course, each participant will build and customize the Kelly website from scratch using only the Liferay interface.

What you'll learn

Use of Liferay features for public web portals and corporate intranets.
Creation and configuration of web pages and content management.
Information publishing and SEO optimization (including schema.org integration).
Building the «Kelly» website from an empty Liferay installation, with customization of styles, images and functionalities.

Requirements

  • •The course will be taught for Liferay 7.4. The syllabus is practically 90% compatible with all Liferay 7 versions, although differences will be indicated during the course.
  • •Hardware requirements: One computer per student.
  • •Software requirements: Web browser (chrome).
  • •Classroom requirements: WiFi connection with internet access, projector and cable with hdmi or vga connection (or chromecast) and whiteboard
