Cl@ve system integration in Liferay

Project Description

We developed a complete Cl@ve system integration solution in Liferay, allowing public administrations and organizations to offer secure authentication through digital certificates to their users. This integration facilitates access to public digital services while meeting the highest security standards. The project included the complete configuration of Cl@ve as an Identity Provider in Liferay, establishing secure communication between both platforms through standard authentication protocols. We implemented all necessary components to support the different Cl@ve authentication methods. The solution allows authentication through multiple methods: • DNIe (Electronic National Identity Document) • Recognized digital certificate • Cl@ve PIN (authentication system with username and password) During development, we created custom modules that integrate perfectly with Liferay's user and permissions system, ensuring that users authenticated through Cl@ve have access to appropriate resources and features according to their profile. We implemented advanced security measures to protect communication between systems, including data encryption, certificate validation, and secure session management. The solution meets all security requirements established by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function. We performed exhaustive testing in different usage scenarios, ensuring compatibility with all authentication methods and proper error handling and edge cases. The solution has been successfully implemented in multiple public portals, facilitating access for more than 10,000 registered users through digital certificates. This integration has significantly improved the accessibility of public digital services, reducing access barriers and improving the citizen experience. This project demonstrates our specialization in security integrations and authentication systems, as well as our deep knowledge of the specific needs of the public sector.
