Project Description

Abahana Villas, a leader in vacation rentals on the Costa Blanca, needed a complete digital transformation that reflected its market position and improved its customers' experience. We carried out a comprehensive project covering everything from brand redesign to complete technical modernization of their platform. The project began with the development of a new corporate branding that reflected the quality and exclusivity of the service. We designed a modern and sophisticated visual identity that was implemented consistently across the entire digital platform, significantly improving brand perception. From a technical standpoint, we performed a complete update to Liferay 7.4 GA120, taking advantage of the latest features and performance improvements of the platform. This update allowed us to implement new features that improved user experience and operational efficiency. One of the most important aspects of the project was the complete migration of all Java developments to JDK21, modernizing the code and improving application performance. This migration also improved security and code maintainability. We implemented a headless architecture using React, which allowed us to create more dynamic and responsive user interfaces. This architecture also facilitated future integrations and improvements, keeping the platform ready for technological evolution. The complete interface redesign significantly improved usability, with an intuitive design that facilitates villa search and booking. We implemented improvements in the booking process, optimizing conversion and reducing cart abandonment. The results were extraordinary: the platform improved its positioning as a sector leader, increased customer satisfaction, and consolidated the Abahana Villas brand as a reference in luxury vacation rentals on the Costa Blanca.
